Please read the previous post before reading this 
i was talking with theodore and realised if all iOS engineers have done is extending a small feature. Then y didnt they give this to iphone 3G ?? Cos even in 3G u can play music and open an application in front of it
The reason i think is quiet simple. Apple wants ppl to ditch iphone 3G and get a new iphone4. I dont kno for sure. but i am guessing AT&T must have given an offer when iphone4 came out for iphone 3g users. I am just guessing
